Who is CPR?
Center for Parental Responsibility
CPR was founded in January
2003 by a grass roots group of concerned citizens affected by family law.
Through life experiences of close friends and family, the female founder
saw the impact of prejudice against non-custodial parents. Appalled by the
obvious discrimination and overt bias against non-custodial parents in family
court, CPR was established under the belief that the family is the primary
battleground between the forces of good and evil. Because of this spiritual
battle, CPR is established as a faith-based organization to preserve and
restore the fractured family, to protect children.
CPR Vision
Statement: A non-profit
research, education, advocacy, and support organization dedicated to conserving
family autonomy, encouraging responsibility, and preserving the
constitutionally protected liberty interests of both parents to safeguard their
children’s welfare.

ü God
can change hearts and heal broken relationships.
ü Prayerful
hope and spiritual direction will help create the necessary change, encouragement,
and renewal for the family through reform of family law.
ü We
are an inclusive not exclusive grace-based fraternity of believers in a common
creator, with the purpose not to convert but to serve.
ü
Children need two equally active,
responsible, and supportive parents.
ü
Unwanted and unnecessary government
intrusion in the family should be abolished, and parents have a responsibility
to challenge when government exceeds the boundaries of their limited power over
individual rights.
ü
Once basic needs are met, effective
parenting is not determined by how much money is spent on the children.
ü
Personal responsibility must replace
entitlement to government services.
ü
Government must not interfere with
parental rights of fit parents.
ü
Citizens must work together as freedom
fighters to combat the social parenthood crisis, which has created the new
civil rights movement of this era.
ü
Common hope and continuous life journey
is learning to be obedient to God.
