| I challenged myself to use no more than 6 products per day Last week, I challenged myself to use no more than 6 products per day. For the most part, I considered a "product" to be any individual piece of makeup, not including skincare items such as moisturizer and sunscreen (all day erryday). At first I counted basic lip balm toward my limit of six, but then I told myself that lip balm is basically skincare because it serves a purpose beyond aesthetics. I don know about you, but forgetting lip balm for a day is sentencing myself to painful, cracked, peeling lips for the next three days (especially in winter). I also initially told myself that two eyeshadow colors, even if part of a palette, counted as two separate products. For most of the week I either used one shade or none at all, so I avoided that. Then on Day 5 I got bored and wanted to use one of my Revlon Colorstay palettes, and I told myself that it was small enough to count as a single product. I mean, you buy it as a single unit in the store. Limiting the number of products used was also a good exercise in confidence. I found it easy to see what I like about how ncaa football helmet I look. For instance, I really like my natural lip color, so most days I went with a basic lip balm instead of something with color. I been focusing on proper skin care the past few weeks, and I pretty happy with how it looks without foundation (save for on Day 2 when I woke up with a bunch of blotchy redness).
