I enjoy yoga I started when I became concerned about the fact that as I was getting older my flexibility had pretty much gone down hill and my balance was not much better. I also like the fact that its slow paced so even if you are new at it and are not 100% understanding as you go, its slow enough paced that you can catch up and not feel like a ditz. I have not attended any classes but have quite a few video tapes which after awhile I did find were repeating themselves. So I took what I wanted and felt would help me most out of the tapes and came up with my own practice and do it now. Thanks for letting me put in my two cents I ve seen that one on tv where you work out in a hot room suppostu encourage everything to open up and work nicer, personally I think all that would do is make me horribly nausceous pardon the spelling. It also has alternative moves for variety during some of the leg exercises (it shows another person in a smaller box in the corner of the screen doing different moves) so you can follow the other person during that time in the workout if you choose. Unlike strength training or cardio training where you re pounding out reps and minutes, yoga definitely adds a mental/spiritual element. I feel like I m never good enough for my boyfriend So this started a few months ago when we both started getting busier with our lives (school, work, family etc.) and he changed schools so he could go to this other one that had better programs to offer him. I already have horrible self esteem which many people would never think that about me but it s the honest truth, I thought that would be important before I continued with the story.
